A significant incident occurred early Saturday morning in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, where a truck loaded with over 60 LPG cylinders caught fire, leading to multiple explosions. The fire broke out around 4 AM at Bhopura Chowk on the Delhi-Wazirabad Road, prompting an immediate response from the fire department, which dispatched eight units to the scene.

The explosions were powerful enough to be heard several kilometers away, causing panic among local residents. Fortunately, no casualties or injuries have been reported. However, the blasts caused damage to nearby properties, including four shops that were charred as a result of the fire spreading. Local eyewitnesses described how some cylinders were propelled into the air during the explosions, landing on nearby rooftops and causing further damage.

Chief Fire Officer Rahul Pal stated that it took approximately 90 minutes for firefighters to control the blaze due to the ongoing explosions from the cylinders. The cause of the fire is still under investigation, but preliminary reports suggest it may have been ignited by friction within the cylinders
