Donald Trump has expressed concerns regarding recent mysterious drone sightings across the United States
Donald Trump has expressed concerns regarding recent mysterious drone sightings across the United States, particularly emphasizing that he believes the government knows more about these incidents than it is disclosing to the public.
In a post on his social media platform, Truth Social, Trump stated, “Mystery Drone sightings all over the Country. Can this really be happening without our government’s knowledge? I don’t think so! Let the public know, and now. Otherwise, shoot them down!!! DJT”.
These drone sightings have been reported in various locations, starting from New Jersey and spreading to other states along the East Coast. Despite the rising public interest and concern, federal officials, including representatives from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the FBI, have maintained that there is no evidence suggesting these drones pose a national security threat or have any foreign connections. They noted that many reported sightings might actually be manned aircraft operating legally.
White House National Security Communications Advisor John Kirby reiterated that investigations are ongoing to determine the origins of these drones and that there are no confirmed sightings in restricted airspace.
Trump’s call to action aligns with growing frustrations among lawmakers and residents who are demanding more transparency regarding these unidentified aerial phenomena. Some Republican lawmakers have echoed Trump’s sentiments, suggesting that if these drones are indeed unidentifiable, they should be shot down to ensure national security.
