‘Compromised PM’ no longer capable of running country: Rahul slams Modi
Rahul Gandhi recently criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi, calling him a “compromised PM” incapable of running the country. This statement came in response to Modi’s appeals for public sacrifices amid economic pressures from West Asia conflicts.
Rahul Gandhi targeted Modi’s Sunday rally speech in Hyderabad, where the PM urged citizens to skip gold buys for a year, cut fuel use, avoid foreign travel, carpool, use metros, and work from home to ease forex reserve strain. Gandhi labeled these “proofs of failure” after 12 years of Modi’s rule, accusing the government of dodging accountability by shifting burdens to people.
Gandhi posted on X: “Running the country is no longer within the reach of a Compromised PM.” He argued the appeals show the PM dictating daily choices due to policy shortcomings.
This fits Gandhi’s ongoing attacks, including claims Modi is “compromised” by US deals, Trump influence, or Epstein files, raised in Parliament and rallies since February 2026. Earlier instances linked to US trade pacts harming farmers and energy security.
