Arkansas: Three people were killed in Independence County.

Mississippi: Three additional deaths were reported in Tylertown.

Texas and Oklahoma: Deaths were also reported in these states, including three in a car crash during a dust storm in Texas.

Kansas: Eight fatalities were reported in Kansas.

The total death toll varies across reports, with some sources indicating at least 1720, or as high as 26 deaths.

Emergency Declarations: St. Louis County declared a state of emergency due to the severe damage.
