130 nuclear warheads Aimed at You: Pakistan Minister open threat to India as tensions flare

Pakistan Minister Hanif Abbasi has openly threatened India with nuclear retaliation amid escalating tensions following the deadly Pahalgam terror attack in Indian-administered Kashmir. Abbasi warned that Pakistan possesses 130 nuclear warheads and a missile arsenal including Ghori, Shaheen, and Ghaznavi missiles, which are specifically targeted at India. He emphasized that these weapons are not for display and their locations are concealed across Pakistan, ready to be used if provoked.

The threat came after India announced countermeasures against Pakistan, including suspending the Indus Waters Treaty of 1960 and expelling Pakistani diplomats, following the Pahalgam attack that killed 26 people. Abbasi stated that if India stops Pakistan’s water supply by suspending the treaty, it should prepare for a full-scale war. He also criticized India for blaming Pakistan instead of addressing its own security issues and highlighted the economic impact of Pakistan closing its airspace to Indian flights.

This escalation follows a series of diplomatic and military tensions between the two nuclear-armed neighbors, with Pakistan denying involvement in the attack and warning that India’s suspension of the water treaty is an “act of war” that will be met with full force.

Pakistan’s minister Hanif Abbasi has issued a stark nuclear threat to India, asserting that Pakistan’s 130 nuclear warheads and missile systems are aimed at India and warning of full-scale war if India halts water supplies by suspending the Indus Waters Treaty in retaliation for the Pahalgam terror attack.
