Donald Trump has threatened Iran with bombings if they do not agree to a nuclear deal with the U.S.. In response, Iran has readied missiles for potential retaliation.

Trump’s Threat: Speaking in an interview with NBC News, President Trump stated that if Iran doesn’t make a deal with the U.S. regarding its nuclear program, there will be bombing unlike anything they have ever seen before. Trump has given Iran a two-month deadline to agree to a new nuclear deal. Trump also mentioned the possibility of implementing secondary tariffs on Iran, similar to what he did four years ago.

Missile Readiness In response to Trump’s threat, Iran has placed its missiles in launch-ready mode within underground facilities designed to withstand airstrikes. These missiles are prepared to strike “US-related positions” if necessary.

Rejection of Direct Talks Iran has rejected direct negotiations with the U.S., but is open to indirect talks. Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated that the U.S. must prove they can build trust, as the breach of promises has caused issues.
